Lucy Lou came into my life right after I lost my husband, and she has been my constant companion ever since. She’s five years old, full of love, and always by my side. Her gentle spirit and loyalty have helped me through some of my hardest days, and she truly is the light of my life.

Recently, I noticed a bump in Lucy Lou’s tummy that quickly grew into a bulge over the last two weeks. After taking her to Pinehurst Veterinary Hospital, the vet explained that she has blood in her stomach and needs an urgent operation to find out if it’s cancer or something else. The goal is to stop the growth and give her the best chance at recovery. I’m handling this on my own, and the costs for her surgery and care are more than I can manage alone.
