My friend Andrea and I are asking for support for our friend Lucy who was diagnosed with liver cancer in September last year. As the tumor was growing fast, Lucy had surgery in November. The surgery went well, but unfortunately, CT scans in January revealed that the cancer was back, and it has been progressing very fast.

 

Lucy has been staying positive while undergoing chemotherapy and remains hopeful that the treatment will be effective.

 

Unfortunately, Lucy had to quit her job due to her illness, and we are raising money to help her pay for rent and living expenses. We are also hoping to raise funds to cover the cost of travel for Lucy’s mom, who lives in the Czech Republic and is planning to visit Lucy in San Francisco and care for her daughter during this difficult time.

 

Lucy always takes care of other people and offers her help when needed. We feel that it is our turn now to do our part and help bring a smile to her face again.
