Lucy and Calvin are two puppies we found abandoned on a country road near our home. My wife Nicole, my daughter Kameron, her fiancé RJ, and I couldn’t leave them behind, so we brought them home and checked for microchips, hoping to find their owners. After asking around the neighborhood and finding no one missing puppies, we realized they needed our help.

Shortly after bringing them in, both Lucy and Calvin started showing signs of illness. We took them to our regular vet, where they received blood work and IV fluids. Sadly, both tested positive for Parvo, a serious and often deadly virus for puppies. Our vet referred us to the emergency clinic, where they are now admitted for intensive treatment. The costs for their care are already significant, and we expect more expenses as they continue to fight for their lives.

We’re doing everything we can to give Lucy and Calvin a chance to survive. If they recover, we hope to either welcome them into our family or foster them until we can find loving homes.
