Help Lucky Live up to His Name
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lucky. This is the name my rescuer gave to me. I must have had a name and an owner before that because I was still wearing a worn, grubby collar when I was handed in as a stray, after being homeless for a while and going from house to house begging for food.

That is not my tongue in the photo. It is a tumour protruding from my mouth, which makes it difficult to eat - like you if you had to eat your Sunday lunch with a golfball in your mouth!
I know things are hard for people today and vets' fees can be expensive, which is why many cats end up being abandoned, but, without an owner coming forward or anyone to advocate for me and give me a chance with surgery, by trying to raise funds, I was on a hiding to nowhere. My life was bleak and I was destined to be put to sleep.

This is me when I was handed in. I was very sad and miserable. I look like I am on Death Row in the picture, but my rescuer saw me and wanted to raise funds for my treatment as no-one had come forward to claim me. She has found a vet who thinks I deserve a chance. I like life – I am affectionate and can purr and play like any other cat, but eating is becoming increasingly more difficult and painful.
The treatment will be expensive and I am lucky that I have been given a reprieve by someone who believes in me and is trying to raise the money for my surgery and aftercare. She named me Lucky and I hope, with your help, I get to live up to my new name.
Please help fund my treatment.
Any donation will be fantastic and gratefully received.
A special thanks from Lucky x
