Hello everyone. My name is Sharee and this is my cat Lucky that I have had since he was a kitten (2012).

I just recently got permanently laid off from my job of 5 years just Monday. I came home today after trying to file for unemployment and my son must have accidentally let our cat out prior. He was fine, but as I was cleaning, he jumped on my bed and laid down, and then all of a sudden, he started screaming in pain and sliding himself around growling! All I could do is try to comfort him. I tried to keep him in one spot, but he won't. He can't get comfortable. He is limping on it and trying not to put pressure on it.

I'm just asking for a little help, anything to help me take care of his leg. I can't handle knowing he is suffering. It kills me that I can't just go take him in and pay like I would have before. I hate asking for help, but I can't watch him suffer. I have to make sure I have money for me and my son to survive as well.

I contacted Metvet and they want $134 for the visit, and then if he needs meds or anything else, that would have to be paid right then too. I just recently purchased a new home a month ago, and I have my car payment to worry about and other bills. I can't lose my car or I won't be able to get to a job to make money. Please, I'm begging for any type of help! Thank you for reading.
