Lucky Chance has always been a fighter. As the runt of his litter, he was bullied by the other pups and even had to be resuscitated at birth after his mom accidentally smothered him. That’s how he got his name—he’s always managed to pull through, no matter the odds. He’s become a beloved member of our family, full of love and loyalty.

Recently, Lucky showed his brave spirit once again when he was attacked by two other dogs while trying to protect my nephew. The injuries he suffered were severe, and he now needs surgery on his throat and leg, along with anesthesia and extensive aftercare. The vet bills are overwhelming, especially since we’ve had to miss work just to get him the urgent help he needs. With the economy being what it is, we’re barely making ends meet as it is, and this unexpected tragedy has left us unable to afford the care Lucky desperately needs.

We’re reaching out to our community for help. Any support or shares would mean the world to us and would help give Lucky the chance to heal and come back home where he belongs. Thank you for reading Lucky’s story and for any kindness you can offer.
