Hi, my name is Jarrah, and I run Lucky Bandit Rescue, a safe haven where love, healing, and second chances are given to horses who need it most. Right now, we’re raising funds to care for our three beloved sanctuary horses: Phoenix, Patches, and Rover—each with their own incredible story of resilience.

Meet the Herd

Phoenix was the first soul to arrive at Lucky Bandit Rescue. He came from a heartbreaking neglect situation, underweight and scared, but with a fighting spirit. Phoenix has blossomed into a sweet, trusting horse, reminding us daily of the power of love and patience.

Patches is our gentle elder—a 40+ year-old Appaloosa with a heart murmur and severe dental issues. Despite his age and health challenges, Patches still finds joy in the sunshine and in soft pats on his speckled coat. He requires special feed and regular vet care to stay comfortable.

Rover is the protector and calming presence of our herd. He’s more than Patches’ pasture mate—he’s his little big brother from another mother. Rover keeps the herd together and watches over them like family.

Why We Need Your Help

These horses are not just animals—they're survivors, teachers, and companions. But the cost of their care is growing, and we need your help to continue providing:

Specialized feed for Patches and the others

Ongoing medical care, including dental work, heart medications, and routine vet visits

Safe, weather-resistant shelters to protect them year-round from heat, rain, and cold
