Hi

This is Lucius. He is the son of my dog, Blue Frankenstein, and Linda Cabaniss' dog.

He got sick a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving. We took him to a vet in Albuquerque, and they gave him pills for pneumonia.

When they ran out, he went down. We then took him to CSU for more info. Turns out he had a UTI that turned septic and attacked his joints. He was in critical care for a week. He is now back in NM in need of rehab once a week to help get his strength back to be able to run like a dog should. He is capable of a full recovery but needs to continue meds and rehab, which will cost $300 a week. I am asking for help because I maxed out all my credit cards at CSU with their life-saving care.

We cannot continue the rehab that he needs for his full recovery. Lucius has come so far and is walking on his own on his front feet and still needs help getting up and balance with his back feet. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated because we don’t want to give up now when we can see a happy ending in sight, and he is a fighter.
