Cindy's Prosthetic Leg Fund

Hello,
My name is Wendi Miller and I have created this fundraiser for my mother, Lucinda (Cindy) Engle.   Cindy has undergone  months of surgeries and procedures due to Diabetic and Vascular complications which ultimately resulted in amputation.   We (surgeons and family members) decided this was the only option remaining.  I am very proud of the way that she has come through this traumatic event and continues to fight through the pain and the challenges this amputation has caused with Physical Therapy and wheelchair use.  Cindy has raised her children, than her grandchildren after her daughter passed away in 2014.   She is now 1 of the primary caretakers of her great grandchildren (ages 5 & 7).  Cindy does not have any medical insurance and the cost of a prosthetic leg are out of reach at this time.  We are hoping to raise money to be able to acquire the limb and get Cindy back to her independent lifestyle.  The limb has the ability to give Cindy her life back with the ability to walk with the kids.
