Lucifer is a spunky little Parti Yorkie who has brought so much joy and love into my life. Born on January 2, 2024, he quickly became the heart of our home with his playful spirit, affectionate snuggles, and big personality. As the proud dad of three beautiful puppies, Lucifer has always been full of energy and happiness, making his recent illness all the more heartbreaking for everyone who knows him.

Just this past week, Lucifer suddenly became very ill. He went from being a healthy, lively pup to needing emergency hospitalization overnight. He began vomiting and experiencing uncontrollable diarrhea, stopped eating and drinking, and his condition quickly became critical. After rushing him to a 24-hour veterinary hospital, a series of tests revealed a mass near his stomach, severe inflammation, and dangerous fluid buildup. Within a 24 hour period, Lucifer visited three different veterinary facilities, which was exhausting for all of us, and spent one night under their care. He required a tube to drain his stomach, intravenous fluids, and antibiotics. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the veterinary teams, he was finally able to come home. However, he is still not fully recovered, and there is uncertainty about his long-term health.

Lucifer is now on several medications, has follow-up appointments, and must stick to a special diet for the foreseeable future. The emotional and financial toll of his care has been overwhelming, and the vet bills have added up quickly.
