Lucien's colleagues are raising money to help with living expenses while he's fighting cancer.

Lucien was the SCS Instrumentation & Monitoring Data Manager responsible for Atlas Road, Greenpark Way and NTE. Lucien played a huge role in the background and helped ensure we had all the data to allow the work to continue.

Last Christmas, Lucien was diagnosed with T4aN2M1 Moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma, this means he has a tumour in his Oesophagus which has spread to the diaphragm and outer stomach lining, and there's evidence of activity in a few lymph nodes.

The median survival for this stage is 12 to 18 months, but he remains optimistic as chemo appears to be going well.

We want to help Lucien with living expenses while he's unable to work and while his wife is off work caring for Lucien and their children, aged 7 and 4.
