Help Luci Heal from Severe Tail Injury

Our cat Luci was attacked by another cat unprovoked in his safe space. The base of his tail near his spine is now injured. The vet isn't sure if it's an infection, break, or soft tissue tear. The sedation, X-rays, and pain medication to diagnose the injury is $700. If his tail is broken, it will have to be amputated. Luci is the sweetest, most loving boy and does not deserve to be in this much pain. He is suffering. Any sort of donations to help us treat and diagnose his injury are greatly appreciated.
