Lucca is my energetic, affectionate dog who will be turning three next month. He’s always been full of life, never failing to show love to everyone he meets—sometimes I think he loves people even more than other dogs! Whether he’s running, playing catch, tug of war, or cuddling up for hours of Vampire Diaries, Lucca brings so much joy and comfort to my life. I got him during a time when I felt alone, and he quickly became my forever best friend, always by my side and ready to offer companionship and warmth.

Recently, Lucca injured his left leg by jumping off the couch and landing wrong. He tore his CCL, and now he struggles to do the things he loves most. Seeing him unable to run and play has been heartbreaking, and I want nothing more than to help him get back to his happy, active self. The surgery he needs is major, and the costs for his care—including medication and rehabilitation—are more than I can manage alone.
