Donation protected
6/23/25Edit: putting this edit on the very top.I lowered the goal to cover past medical expenses and to help cover his cremation. He passed away this morning. Thank you to those who donated and shared it really means a lot since it did help with his medication which allowed for more time to be spent together so again thank you
I never thought I would have to use this site but then again I never thought this would happen so sudden
Hi I'm Elias and I'm making this fund for my little boy Lucas. One day I noticed he didn't eat as much since his bowl was half empty when I got home from a shift so then I gave him some wet food before bed and he just looked at it which had me worried in the morning since he never touched it the whole night. Took him to the vet the very same morning who then sent me to specialist, only to find out his health took a turn for the worst since he was diagnosed with lymphoma after all lab work came back.
He's been with me ever since he was left behind by his previous owner but I guess that was blessing in itself since he filled each day with joy and always stayed by my side through the bad times by cheering me up with his purrs as he rested on my lap whenever he felt I was going through something. Even now whenever he sees me breaking down over this he just meows, rubs against my leg, and just sits next to me. I really want to help him fight this cancer but I can't do it alone so I'm hoping with your help I'm able get the donations to cover the cost chemo tests along with treatments. So we can try and beat the cancer so he can live longer joyous life
How the funds raised will be used: $5,000 will be used for past medical exams and $10,000 will cover chemo and overnight vet stays. The rest will be used towards unpaid leave from work to take Lucas to his chemo appointments while also being there for him so he doesn't have to be facing those challenging days alone.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated and even just sharing this would be a big help
Thank you for taking the time
5/22 Edit* I've enclosed some documents as an update along with one I had paid for previously. The chemo( COP) document is the one I got last week and is the one that $10,000 would go for
5/27 Edit* I wanna say thank you to everyone who's donated and shared this. I'll be able to get Lucas reevaluated soon to see which meds he needs. Still hoping chemo can be an option
