Hi, my name is Lucas Chen and I'm a Boy Scout in troop 233. I'm currently a 11th grader Life Scout and working on achieving Eagle Scout.

For my Eagle Scout project, I will be working with First Tee of Silicon Valley, a nonprofit organization that strives to empower youth by developing their golf skills and fostering their professional development. The Director of First Tee informed me that they have about 35 first aid kits that are expired, outdated, and lacking necessary items. I have already inspected each kit at all five Bay Area golf courses and will assemble 35 first aid kits. Afterwards, I will deliver and install them in coaches’ packs at all golf courses. Additionally, I have designed and created laminated flashcards that provide instructions on how to respond to first aid situations. The flashcards will contain steps to treat blisters, bee stings, muscle cramps, dehydration, heat stroke, struck by a golf ball, CPR, and other relevant first aid injuries that kids could face on the golf course.
