I adopted Luca just a month ago, and today he turns six months old. When I found him, he was facing euthanasia, but I knew I had to give him a second chance. Bringing him home was one of the best decisions I’ve made, and he’s quickly become a beloved part of my family.

Unfortunately, just as Luca was settling in, he suddenly became very sick. Last Sunday, he had to be rushed to the hospital, where he spent two nights undergoing tests and treatment. The veterinarians discovered he had Giardia, a serious infection, and he’s been receiving care ever since. Thankfully, Luca is now ready to come home, but the cost of his hospital stay and treatment is more than I can manage on my own.
