Help Luca get her GRS

I am raising funds for my Orchiectomy, which is a form of transgender confirmation surgery. I'll spare the details about what it all entails for the squeamish. But the info is easily found online.

 

Some background about myself. I've legitimately had thoughts about this topic since before I ever hit puberty. And yet I pushed them aside as "totally normal cis thoughts." For years and decades. My ex was supportive of it when I thought I was cis, and still with him. Brains, are very confusing.

 

Ever since I realized I was trans at the end of 2018, it made me wanting this procedure make so much more sense. I could fundraise for the full GRS, but. I'm honestly not dysphoric about the rest of the package. Just, those bits. They don't do me any good. They never have honestly, they just get in the way. So, I'm trying to do everything I can to get this done this year.

 

I have insurance through work. But I don't honestly know how much it will cost me out of pocket (yet.) Nor do I know how much the second evaluation from a therapist I don't have a relationship with will be. I am speaking with one therapist now about a lot of other mental health things that tie back into buried trauma and dysphoria, but I digress.

 

These funds would cover therapy, the surgery, as well as my (short, like a week or less going by my research) post op recovery. Thank you for your time reading this. ️‍⚧️
