Hi, my name is Khara and I have a beautiful son named Luca who was born with XYY Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that comes with many challenges. Luca is 6 years old and was diagnosed with apraxia when he was 5. He is mostly non speaking but we know his voice is in there. Our primary insurance does not cover speech therapy for Luca (or any of the other therapies he needs) Luca has started seeing an amazing Speech Language Pathologist who specializes in Apraxia but she is private pay only. Luca needs occupational, speech, and physical therapy. He is a kind, sweet loving boy who deserves a voice! Please help us help him get the therapy he needs to talk.
