My name is Andrea, and I’m a proud parent of an incredible 10-year-old soccer player, Luca. He has just been given the opportunity of a lifetime.

My son has been officially invited to represent Portugal in the 2026 Youth World Challenge in New York this July. This is an international tournament bringing together teams from around the world! Young athletes get the chance to compete at a high level, while gaining global exposure, cultural experience, and personal growth.

Soccer has been his passion, since he could walk. He has worked hard, stayed dedicated, and pushed himself every day—and now that effort has opened the door to something truly special.

Unfortunately, opportunities like this come with significant costs, including travel, tournament fees, accommodations, and gear. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support him.

This experience will mean everything to him. Not only would he be representing his Portuguese side of his family, he would also be competing on an international stage, building confidence, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
