Sacha Charles’ life was taken in an act of femicide. Her children, Luca (8) and Kathryn (3), are now with family who are working to give them safety, love, and stability. Please help support their new beginning.
We are heartbroken to share that Sacha Charles — a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend — was taken from us far too soon, in what police have recognized as an act of femicide.
Sacha’s entire world revolved around her two beautiful children, Luca (8) and Kathryn (3). Her warmth, laughter, and fierce love will be remembered by everyone who knew her.
Luca and Kathryn are now in the care of Sacha’s family, who are doing everything they can to create a stable and nurturing home as the children begin to rebuild their lives. But starting over after such trauma brings tremendous challenges — from finding suitable housing to covering childcare, daily essentials, therapy, and long-term education.
We’re raising funds to ensure these children are surrounded by the same love, care, and opportunities their mother worked so hard to give them. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward:

• Clothing and basic needs
• Childcare and school support
• Trauma counseling and emotional healing
• Long-term educational planning
