Help Luca aka Renée Get Her Name Changed

Hello! If you're seeing this, my name is Luca as most people in the furry fandom know. But *my* name is Renée. And! I am working on getting my legal info updated IRL!

I am a transfeminine nonbinary girl, living in Ohio, and have court fees to handle to get my identity/birth certificate fixed and sorted out. So that my legal name is correct.

As of this writing, I am waiting for an account with my County Probate Court, to file my court case to get my name changed. After that is approved and filed, I have 45 days to wait.

My fundraising goals are as follows;
$145 for court fees. ($138 officially, plus an e-filing convenience fee, for these Strange Times.)

$60 to publish an announcement in "a local paper of note." (There is a cheaper paper I could publish in, but I have literally never heard of it in all my years living here. No one has ever talked about it, so I'm not sure it exists.)

That covers $205, the other $40 towards my goal would be to cover potential extraneous costs (namely getting my drivers license renewed after I get my court documents.) As well as gofundme fees. Anything beyond that would go towards paying down debts.
(My initial goal was $250 and that had been met. And it means so much to me that friends and strangers were so generous. Further funds will go towards other debts such as license renewal with the right name. Potential fees for updating birth certificate, etc.)
