Help Lubbock High Aca Deca Reach USAD Nationals

Meet your United States Academic Decathlon Texas State Champions (Medium School Division), who have earned a coveted invitation to compete at the National USAD Competition in Des Moines, Iowa. Texas is one of THE most academically competitive states when it comes to Academic Decathlon, but we are also one of the most notoriously underfunded in the realm of public education. Though our school and district-level administration ensure financial (and emotional!) support for our endeavors through the State level of competition, Nationals is WELL beyond our reach without the financial assistance of our community.

Listen, we could ask you to go pick up a meal where a portion of proceeds is donated, we could show up at your door in an attempt to sell you a bucket of cookie dough for a percentage of the cut, we could try to entice you to attend what would admittedly have to be the cheapest-ever gala. Instead, we are just going to ask you to make any amount of donation you can muster where the proceeds will fully benefit our team's travel costs. For every donation divisible by $60 (aka 60, 120, 180, 1200), one of our decathletes will dedicate 60+ minutes of study time to the sponsor and shout you out via Lubbock High social media (unless, of course, you wish to remain anonymous).
