I am a long-time friend of Rick and Luanne, and love them both dearly. Luanne said her goodbye to Rick last week after he encountered a stroke in the middle of the night. Luanne has been by his side for all the good and not-so-good times (more good times), and they had a bond of love and laughter that most would envy. Rick was always fixing something, doing something, or taking care of something. He loved life and his family. He loved his work family too, especially all of them at Habitat-ReStore. He was a good friend, father, and husband. We will all miss him dearly and will help keep his memory alive by honoring his wife Luanne, son Richard, and his cats through emotional support and this fundraiser.

He didn't have a life insurance policy, and I am hoping that the many friends, family, and co-workers can help them by donating to this GoFundMe. All proceeds will go directly to Luanne to help cover funeral costs and getting their home ready to sell.
