One of the first words that comes to my mind when I think about our friend, LuAnn Martin, is loving. For all who know her, I'm sure you all have stories and memories with her you could share to back that up, and I'm sure you have words of your own to describe her. Giving is also another one that comes to mind.

As you know, the recent storms hit the Hardy, AR/Spring River area pretty hard, and our friend, LuAnn, lost almost everything. She lives in a beautiful cabin on the Spring River, one that she shared with her late husband, Ben.

When the storms started, she grabbed her fur babies, her beloved harp, and some other essentials and headed to a friend's home. When she was finally able to return, what she found was devastating. The waters had come into her cabin and rose to over 4 ft. So everything 4 ft and below was ruined, as well as appliances, etc. She also lost her water source and is just facing a huge mess to clean up. There is no flood insurance to help with this, so the purpose of this page is to give everyone an opportunity to help our very kind, loving, and wonderful friend—because you know she would never ask!

LuAnn has friends all over the country (and I'm sure the world) who have asked what they can do to help and I'm sure just don't know at this point how they can help her. She is going to be facing a big financial burden with having to replace so much that she lost—this GoFundMe account will definitely help her relax a little and hopefully provide her with the means to restore her cabin back to being her "little piece of Heaven".
