I rescued Lu (Lucifurr) when he was just a few days old, and since then, he has been an irreplaceable part of my family. Sadly, Lu is currently facing serious medical issues, and I am struggling to afford his treatments and vet visits. He has undergone multiple check-ups, extensive blood work, and is on several medications. Unfortunately, MRI scans are prohibitively expensive, and his vets have indicated that X-rays are unlikely to provide any useful insights.
Lu’s primary vet suspects that he may have had a stroke, which could affect his movement and cognitive function. Another vet has suggested that a brain tumor might be a possibility. However, the necessary tests and potential surgery are beyond my financial means.
Despite these challenges, my goal is to give Lu the best possible quality of life with the resources I have. He deserves a chance to live happily for as long as he can.
(Yes, Lu has been FIV positive since birth, a condition that, while manageable, cannot be cured.)
