Help Lt. Dan Live Pain-Free

This is Lt. Dan. He was found under my shed three years ago missing his hind legs. A vet check revealed that they were probably chewed off by a dog.

Lt. Dan has lived like this, and now the pain has become unbearable for him. One leg has healed, but he chews at the other, causing it to bleed and become infected. A trip to the vet last week brought news that the best thing to do is to amputate at the hip and use his front two legs and what is remaining of his rear leg.

The bill for this operation and aftercare was quoted at $8,000.
