The LQPV Boys Volleyball is in it's 1st season as a Minnesota State High School Leage qualified team! When a student participates in a school sport, it builds a sense of value and belonging, and they grow communication, leadership and work-ethic skills that will last them a life time. The heart of this team is immeasurable, and their talent and passion are off the charts.

Over the last three years, students, coaches, teachers, community members and buisnesses have been dedicating and donating hours and dollars to make the program what it is today. Many of our athletes are sponsored by school/state registrtation scholarships and rely on the generosity of fundraised dollars and supplies to be able to participate.

This year, with the opportunity to compete on a larger stage, the team will be traveling down to the cities and to other communities several hours away multiple times to build a conference record, since there are not any other MSHSL teams in our region. These opportunities and a full-time schedule come with additional requirements of our athletes and program as well as additional costs. We couldn't be more excited for it all - but we need your financial support so we can really be our best!

In order to provide the best preparation, knowledge and access to tools so our student-athletes can perform at the highest level possible, we are asking for donations to help us grow our program resources for this year and years to come.

What might donations be used for?

• Traveling - the cost for transportation, lodging and meals and snacks on the road
• Gear - Shoes, shorts for practice, socks, warm-ups, knee pads, ankle and knee braces...etc
• Team Training Equipment- Volleyballs, Jumping Boxes, Cones, Stability Boards...etc.
• Nutrition and Wellness Education - Help us afford to bring in additional professionals to help train our students on what it means to be an athlete in both body and mind
• Food for Team Events or Homework Nights- Being a great team means doing some teamwork events that take place off the court. Also, academic success is important to us! We have been hosting extra homework nights for our high school students and we'd love to be able to provide nutritional food options at these events.
