Four days ago, my cat Lovisa disappeared. When I finally found her, she had been hit by a car possibly days earlier and somehow survived alone in freezing cold. The vets say it’s a miracle she’s still alive.
Lovisa has severe injuries: a dislocated/broken leg, nerve damage affecting her bladder and rectum, and her tail can’t be saved. She currently cannot pee on her own, and the doctors said the situation is critical. They even suggested euthanasia, but she is still fighting, and I refuse to give up on her.
She’s showing early signs of nerve recovery, and she even managed to pee on her own today a small but powerful sign that she wants to live. Nerve healing can take weeks, and she will need careful care, medication, and potentially surgery to have a chance at a full recovery.
I need help giving her that chance. I also feel guilty because I recently cancelled her insurance, thinking I wouldn’t need it a mistake I deeply regret. Now, all the medical bills fall on me, and the costs are growing faster than I can manage alone.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps cover emergency care, ongoing treatment, and surgery. Even sharing this fundraiser would mean the world.
Lovisa has already survived against incredible odds. She fought through the freezing night, the trauma of the accident, and the uncertainty of being missing. Now we need positive wishes and prayers from others to help her fight
Please help give her a real chance to survive and recover ❤️ She is my world, and I will be forever grateful to all of you.
The medical expenses are still significant. For transparency, I’ve included a detailed cost breakdown in the images below, so you can see exactly how the funds are being used.
Your support—through donations or sharing the campaign—means the world and helps give Lovisa the care she needs.
