Lovey Dovey is a male grey tabby who was abandoned at my mom’s house in the country. Despite being severely ill, he remains incredibly sweet and loving, fighting hard to survive. He’s suffering from feline leukemia, which has caused a terrible mouth infection
and is making it impossible for him to eat.
Watching his body fail right in front of us is heartbreaking, and we know he needs urgent help to have a chance at life.
The vet has recommended an oral surgery to remove Lovey Dovey’s teeth, which will allow him to eat again and relieve his pain. After surgery, he’ll need medical grade wet food and prescribed medications for the rest of his life, along with regular post-surgery care. My mom, a retired teacher, is already caring for three other abandoned cats with illness and simply cannot afford these costs alone. I am matching funds from my own bank account to help, but we need urgent support to cover the surgery and ongoing care.
We believe in the power of prayer and hope you’ll share this fundraiser if you can’t donate. Every bit of support, whether financial, sharing, or kind words means the world to us and to Lovey Dovey. Your help can give him a chance at comfort and survival, and we are deeply grateful for any support you can offer.
