Hi, My name is Ryan and am an expat from South Africa living in America and am BEGGING for your help...I am raising money for Lovemore a local general contractor in South Africa who nearly lost his life to police brutality. I know many of you do not even live in South Africa and have no connections here but please.... a $15 donation will feed a family for 3 days... A $100 donation is like a windfall... seriously!

Currently Lovemore is trying to recuperate but he has no pending jobs, is weak as hell and his wife Nokotula who has no contractors experience is trying to finish his last job! It ain't pretty! I know we can't help everyone, but I am asking you to help Lovemore & Nokotula and their 3 kids.

Do you have money to live on? No ma’am

Have you paid rent? No ma’am

Are your children hungry? Yes ma’am they go to school on an empty stomach… Whilst Nokotula is describing this, tears are rolling from her eyes, not crying just tears of defeat and exasperation….

Last month Lovemore a local contractor and builder was almost beaten to death by the police for not paying a police bribe. He is like family.

Nokotula, his wife had to take over his job whilst in hospital. Not only did she have to outsource most of his work, she also got ripped off by the contractors who stole their tools.

My sister, Kerry came home and said “come”. Off we went to the local market and bought 3 trolleys worth of food. Nokotula's kids were in tears when they saw the food being delivered. Kerry rallied us together and we paid her rent for the next 2 months. A fellow contractor offered cash to Kerry as without Lovemore he would not have got his last tender in the first place.
