Help Loved Ones Overcome Asheville Crisis after Hurricane

UPDATE: Xan has lost everything they own, house is completely destroyed (in picture). Dan and Waldrops place of work is also underwater, Waldrop lost his car and earlier this month his mother passed away. He JUST got to Asheville. Alina is doing her very best right now but they can’t even fathom what comes after this. 

They all have such hearts of gold and listening to their story of trying to survive the flooding is just heartbreaking..

Thoughts and prayers help only so much, they need help NOW.

My big sister and her household (one not pictured) are cut off from the world in Asheville, North Carolina from Hurricane Helene. We know they are safe but we can no longer contact them due to all cell towers down and power out. Currently they’re separated, 2 of them at a shelter 20 minutes away. They have lost all of their cars from flooding or trees down and Alina (really all of them) will be out of work for the foreseeable future.

We don’t come from money AT ALL and she has worked so hard to build this life for herself. She never asks for help and always figures it out, but that’s not an option. Due to them only being reachable via aircraft is so scary not only for us, but I’m positive that they’re all terrified.

They all love each other so much and I’m so thankful they have one another's emotional support during this time. But they need help to survive.

Anything helps them, please help me help my sister.
