On November 6, 2025, the Lewis family lost the brightest light in every room — my uncle, Isaiah “Zay” Lewis.
Zay was the epitome of kind. He gave glory and gratitude to God, and the only thing greater than his faith was his love. He loved making others feel seen, welcomed, and wanted. He was generous with laughter, with hugs, with time, with comfort. Everywhere Zay went, he brought joy — and that joy lingered and left smiles in its wake. The weight of this loss has a gravity hard to express, and it has left everyone changed.
My dad, Tyran, is doing everything he can to honor his baby brother and to make sure the people who loved Zay can gather on December 6. But even the strongest shoulders have limits. With the emotional, logistical, and financial weight of this loss growing, I’m asking — quietly and humbly — for help.
This fund will help cover:
• Travel expenses for family and close friends
• Lodging for those coming long distances
• Meals and essential needs during the gathering
• Any remaining costs related to the service
I know times are hard for so many, and I wouldn’t be honoring Zay if I didn’t acknowledge that. Truly, whatever anyone is able to give — even if it’s simply sharing this page — means more than I can express. Every contribution goes directly toward bringing the people who loved Zay into the same space to share stories, to grieve, to celebrate his life, and to surround our surviving family with love.
Your support helps us honor a man who spent his life showing up for others.
God bless, and thank you for your time and consideration.
