We are so excited for Sr. Maria Consuela as she prepares to make her final vows as a Sister of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George on August 1, 2026. After years of formation and discernment since 2015, she will freely and joyfully consecrate her life to Christ through the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, committing herself to serve God and His Church for the rest of her life.
This day will be a blessing for the many people who have supported Sister throughout her journey. We know that so many friends and loved ones would love to be present for this moment, but travel costs make it difficult for some, especially those with young children or those who live far from Missouri.
Because Sister has taken a vow of poverty and has no personal need for gifts, our family wanted to create a way for those who wish to celebrate with her to help in another meaningful way. (This was all okayed by her formator as well!)
Any funds raised through this page will go directly toward assisting some of Sister’s loved ones who would otherwise be unable to travel to attend her Profession Mass and celebration. We would love to help as many people as possible be there for this special day.
Your prayers are the greatest gift of all and are what Sister values most deeply. If you feel moved to contribute, your generosity will help make it possible for some of the people who have walked with Sister on her journey to be present on this joyful day.
Thank you for your prayers, love, and support as Sr. Maria Consuela gives her life completely to Christ. Please keep her close in prayer throughout the summer as she attends classes with the four other women who are also preparing for final vows.
Please also feel free to share this page with anyone who knows and loves Sister or who may want to support her vocation through helping others attend this special day.
God bless you!
With love & gratitude,
The Garzon Family
