Help Love Move After Being Laid Off!
Donation protected
Hi Wonderful Humans,
My name is Love, and I am in a dire time of big life transitions. I was recently, and unexpectedly, laid off from my job which is causing me extreme financial hardship and emotional distress. I am not able to afford to continue living in The Bay in California and must move home to live with my mother in Montana while I look for a new job.
This cross-country move comes with extremely expensive costs -- whether renting a u-haul truck, paying for gas, staying in a hotel for 1-night during the 3-day, 1200-mile drive, moving supplies, gas for my car, etc. or paying movers so that I can save my lower back and the lower backs of you my friends. Both options are wildly expensive for a cross-country move.
I was supposed to have my work contract last through June, but the company laid me off (along with most of my team) just a few weeks ago. My family has very limited financial resources so I'm asking for help from my friends and extended community to see me through this incredibly challenging emergency.
***If just 30-people donate $167 dollars that will get me to my $5000 goal.***
--> There is a 3% fee from GoFundMe per donation, so the more money each person donates the more money that will go directly into my bank account.
If I am able to raise more than $5k that will help me afford the overall expense of my move, plus food and living expenses once I get to Montana. I estimate that it will take at least a month for unemployment to start, and it could take several months before I'm able to secure a new job. I have a little money in savings, but certainly not enough to see me through all the expenses associated with this big transition.
--> Every dollar helps, so please donate whatever you can afford and share this GoFundMe with as many people as possible to help spread the word.
Sending this plea for support with humility, loving-kindness, and immense gratitude,
~Love
