My name is Lourie and Friday my van was repossessed after getting behind a couple of payments. As you all know, we have all experienced hard times, but this is a huge blow for me and my family as we have lost our home and our apartment. My husband is a blind veteran who requires dialysis for his end stage kidney disease 3 times a week. He requires a walker to walk and therefore must be guided by someone who can see. This is only the main reason I need my van. There are several other reasons my van is needed. I am the main driver for my mother and brother to their appointments as well. My van has the most room for people and walkers. Insurance does not always cover rides for appointments and uber is too expensive to cover the cost of all three of their needs. What I need is my van back. I have until April 16th 2025 to raise $3,000.00 to cover the fee of past due expenses and lot fees.
