I am creating this fundraiser for myself and my family after the heartbreaking loss of both of my parents just months apart. I lost my father, and then I lost my mother to cancer. My mother was my Wonder Woman, and caring for her through her illness was one of the hardest things I have ever faced. I did everything I could to be there for her through appointments, dialysis treatments, hospital visits, travel, and every phone call, all while trying to care for my family and keep up with work. Watching someone so strong decline in front of me was devastating, and after losing both of my parents, the grief and emotional strain affected every part of our lives.

Since then, the weight of that loss has trickled into our finances, our health, and our stability. I fell behind on rent and other bills while trying to hold everything together for my family. Right now, the most urgent need is to pay our past-due rent and a court-ordered lump sum due next month so we do not lose our home.
