Louise is a sweet stray cat I found behind Lou’s Blues by the beach. She was struggling to survive on her own, so I trapped her and took her to the vet for help. After bloodwork and an X-ray, we discovered she’s suffering from anemia and labored breathing. Despite a steroid shot, Louise hasn’t improved, and her breathing is still a major concern. The next steps are more radiology testing and bloodwork, and if nothing is found, she may need a scope to check for obstructions or a possible mass in her throat.
I’ve been rescuing animals for the past three years and have never asked for help, but Louise’s case is especially urgent. She needs ongoing vet visits, additional bloodwork, radiology exams, and medications to give her the best chance at recovery. I’m handling her care myself and doing everything I can to make sure she gets the treatment she needs.
Any support will go directly toward Louise’s medical expenses and help her get healthy so she can have a safe, loving future. Thank you for helping me give Louise a fighting chance.
