Help Louise Rebuild After Palisades Fire
Donation protected
Louise Branch Charbonneau could use our help. Louise lived in the middle of the Palisades with her daughter, and her neighborhood has been wiped out by the Palisades Fire. She has found a place to live and is working out how to make it work. She’s not exactly sure how much she’s lost (she is waiting to be permitted to go back to where she lived and see what she can recover, if anything).
She will be starting from scratch to rebuild her life for her and her children, as she did not have insurance. Of course, this effort cannot replace the photographs, kids’ art, or other sentimental objects, but it can help with a new start. Let this new phase begin with our support and love.
Derick Perry and I (Jonathan Blinderman) have posted this page so that those that know Louise can support her directly. I am in Santa Barbara, going back and forth to Los Angeles to help as needed.
We are all (including Louise) cognizant of the mass number of people that need support. We encourage each of you to support all those that you know that have been catastrophically impacted, as well as the Los Angeles community impacted in general.
Any support that you can provide to Louise and her family is greatly appreciated. Any amounts raised will be given directly to Louise for use in paying for first and last month rent and security deposit for a new place to live and to replace the items destroyed in the fire, as well as covering general living costs, such as groceries and toiletries (as she has not been able to work while sorting through this situation).
For those of you that know Louise, feel free to reach out to her directly and remind her of the large number of people that know and love her.
Any questions, please feel free to reach out to Michael Branch, Derick Perry, or Jonathan Blinderman (who, for those of you that don't know, is now dating Louise).
