My name is Alex Cavalcante, I created this fundraiser to help our young friend Louise Coelho, an international student who has poured her heart into her education and community. She is a dedicated student leader with a 4.0 GPA and consecutive recognitions on both the Dean’s List and President’s List at Germanna Community College.

Beyond maintaining top academic marks, Louise consistently gives back to those around her. She serves as the Student Liaison for her cohort on the Student Nurse Council, tutors her fellow classmates, volunteers at local food pantries, and assisted with cancer research fundraising events at Stafford Hospital. Her passion for helping others shines through in everything she does.

Louise is working hard on her Associate's Degree in Nursing program and has only two semesters left to complete. However, she recently lost the critical funding needed to stay enrolled. Without it, she won’t be able to graduate, and even more devastating, she faces the risk of losing her student status and visa. Everything she’s worked so hard to build is on the line.

Louise is a remarkably talented and caring young lady who will touch so many lives in a positive way when she becomes a nurse.

Every single donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward her tuition, housing, and keeping her enrolled. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign can make all the difference in reaching someone who can.
