Louisa James is my mom, and the mom of Fenrick, Vanessa and Peterson. She is a retired teacher who lives in Abaco, Bahamas with our dad, Peterson James Sr. My mom came over to visit this summer and was being assessed for several herniated discs when imaging found a large tumor in her right kidney. This news was very unexpected. After consulting with the kidney cancer doctor, we were told the best plan of action is to have the kidney partially or fully removed. In follow-up testing, it showed the tumor has increased in size and definitely must be removed. The surgery is scheduled for Sept 19th, 2025 in Illinois.

My parents do not have health insurance. Our family is pulling together to help pay for her surgery, but our resources do not cover the total cost of the surgery. We can use any financial support that is available to us. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and help ease the financial concerns. We would also appreciate your prayers.

My mom is a woman who loves the Lord with all her heart. She has poured into the lives of people as a great friend, listening ear, and prayer warrior. She has been through trials before and has seen God come through for her, her family, and friends.
