My name is Louis Deamon, and I am the proud owner of Loubachi Hibachi Food Truck. At 27 years old, I poured my heart and savings into building my dream—a food truck that brought delicious, reasonably priced hibachi meals to my community. I started this journey a year ago, and just a month ago, I finally saw my vision come to life with a newly built truck.
Tragically, everything changed when a vehicle crashed into my food truck, causing a fire from the gas lines that completely engulfed it in flames. In an instant, I lost everything I had worked so hard for. I don’t even have a car now and am staying with my mother, but what hurts most is losing the chance to serve and support my community. I always tried to help anyone in need—whether it was food or a kind word—and it was hard for me to say no, even when I wasn’t making a profit. Cooking for people, entertaining customers, and tossing knives and spatulas in the air brought me so much joy.
Getting my food truck back up and running would mean the world to me. I love what I do, and I know my community does too. With your support, I can rebuild with the equipment I need—gas grills, refrigerators, a fire suppression system, and fire-retardant walls—to safely serve my neighbors again. Thank you for considering a donation to help me get back on my feet and bring Loubachi Hibachi Food Truck back to life. Your kindness will make a real difference for me and for everyone I serve.
