Help with medical bills

My name is Tanisha Davis. I am raising money for to help this father of 7 .Louis is my best friend and soulmate. Louis has been hospitalized twice since July 7th and is still currently hospitalized He is a FIGHTER AND HAS HIS FAITH IN GOD.  MANY TIMES IN JULY THEY DIDNT THINK HE WOULD MAKE IT. HE DID! On july 7th he called for my daughter to call EMS ,he couldn't breathe. Mr hicks was transferred by rescue to the hospital later diagnosed with Double pneumonia in both lungs. He spent 23 days in ICU battling with only phone calls from us. He has severe lung damage causing continuous use for oxygen. During this time he lost his ability to walk! For 10 days We cared for him at home until he returned to hospital 2 weeks ago. He is now dealing with a severe DVT AND SEPSIS. MR. HICKS DREAM IS TO WALK AGAIN! PLAY WITH HIS GRANDKIDS. The medical bills are adding up, the cost of care entering rehabilitation is expensive to become independent,learn to walk again and IV Therpay for 6 weeks of antibiotics. Family bills ,gas and food back and forth to hospital has been tremendous.  These past 2 months have turned our lives upside down. From myself having heart surgery to a lady hitting our daughter and totaling her car completely. Through it all Louis has been strong from his hospital bed. Louis is employed by the Town of Beaufort.  Many know him as Diamond Dad or big lou. He's no stranger to Beaufort or carteret county Insurance never covers all your medical needs. Once as well a volunteer fire fighter in Beaufort.  No donation is too small. My main goal is to be able pay for rehabilitation which is about $6000.00 and 2 hours away from us. Our moto!
