Louis is almost 7 years old, and I’ve had him since he was just a tiny puppy of about 3-4 weeks old. He’s been my constant companion, my cuddle buddy through my own health struggles, and the one who brings a smile to my face even on the hardest days. Louis is a giant goofball and a meatball all at once—his personality lights up my life, and I can’t imagine my days without him.
Unfortunately, Louis has battled gastrointestinal issues his entire life, but things took a sudden turn for the worse on April 16th. He abruptly started vomiting and passing blood in his stool. We spent hours at the emergency vet, but because I wasn’t approved for a credit plan, we could only afford minor lab work and to try medication first. If there’s no improvement in the next 24-48 hours, Louis will be in desperate need of emergency care to save his life.
The funds raised will go directly toward more testing, X-rays, medication, and any procedures needed to locate and stop the gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Your support will give Louis the best chance at recovery and help us get through this incredibly difficult time. If you’re able to help, even a little, it would mean the world to both of us. Thank you for reading our story and for any kindness you can share.
