Hi my name is Silvia Orta and I am raising money for my husband Louis Orta who is going through the process of receiving a kidney for a transplant in the near future . My Husband has stage 5 kidney failure also known as end-stage renal disease (ESRD) which is the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease (CKD). He is currently going through dialysis to where he will be on route to receive a kidney within the coming year. This money would be used for medical bills that will not be covered by our insurance and for medication that we will need to pay for after our insurance flex spending card is maxed out. The other thing that we will be using this money for is home expenses that we will need help paying for without Louis working. Lastly this money will only be needed for the time Louis is not working he will be going back to work within the next 3 months.
