My name is Louis (Jamie), and I’m reaching out for support as I face an incredibly difficult time in Los Angeles. Until recently, I was working full-time as a rideshare driver, but I lost my car and, with it, my main source of income. To make matters worse, my SNAP benefits were cut off due to the government shutdown, leaving me without a safety net for food. I’m now on the verge of homelessness, struggling to cover rent and basic necessities on my own. My roommate recently moved out, so I no longer have anyone to share expenses or offer support.

My immediate priorities are to secure enough funds to pay my rent, buy groceries, and work toward getting another vehicle so I can return to work. I’ve looked into local resources, but help is hard to find and not readily available. This fundraiser is my main hope to get back on my feet, regain stability, and avoid losing my home.
