My family and I are recovering from several months of a volatile living situation. After making changes to our environment, we hoped things would get easier, but healing has been difficult because we’re now facing serious financial hardship. It was already a struggle to get by before all of this, and now it’s critical that we secure significant support if we're going to stand a chance at making it through the next few months.

Every dollar raised will go directly to keeping a roof over our heads, putting food on the table, paying utilities, caring for our two cats who have medical issues, and making sure we have fuel to get to work. These are the essentials that will help us stabilize our lives and focus on healing after everything we’ve been through. Our first goal is making March rent.

To get by, I’ve had to sell a number of important items just to make it to the next paycheck. I desperately ache for a future where I don’t have to regularly consider doing things like that. I long for a calm and meaningful life with my family, not constantly centered around survival. My dream is for us to have a stable life that allows us to take care of our neighbors, too.

I’m deeply exhausted and sick on a daily basis from knowing that we never have enough, no matter what we do. Until recently, I’ve mostly reached out in private, so this fundraiser is my last resort and last hope. Help us keep our home, and escape the vicious cycle of survival mode.
