I recently moved to the United States alone to search for a new life with better opportunites. Moving here by myself, with no family, was a very difficult transition for me. 

I got Louie for that specific reason. Louie is a 4 month old French Bulldog. From the day that I got him, Louie immediately became my support system. I know people say a dog is just dog but honestly, Louie is so much more for me than just a dog. He is that "person" that I get to come home to and I'm not ready to lose him. 

On Sunday, May 21st, around 4 pm, Louie fell off the 3rd floor of my balcony. He was looking for some sunlight when he fell through the railings of my balcony and landed straight on the ground. The vets said it was a miracle that he made it through this tragic situation in the first place.

He fell on his left side shattering the 3 bones that make up his elbow and his femor bone. Alongside with this, he has a potential fracture in his spine, causing him to become paralyzed if he isn't treated properly within the next few days. The vets say that if he gets the proper medical attention within these next few days he could still live a normal life. 

I would have never wanted to be put or hear of anyone being put in this situation and I am so embarrased to ask for help, but I really need any help that I could possibly get. To just put Louie through surgery is going to be at least $10,000. It's $10,000 worth of money that I don't have.  Every day that he stays hospitalized because I can't afford the surgery is over $1,000. And I can't bring him back home without him giving up within a few hours after being discharged from the animal hospital.

Please! Any dollar counts and I would truly appreciate the help of anyone that can help me get to this goal.
