Update: We were able to get Louie to the vet, luckily he is a lucky boy & nothing major is believed to be wrong. The updated goal of this GoFundMe is set at $500 to help cover the vet bill as well as if any bloodwork is wanted after the 3 days of initial medications he’s been prescribed today. We thank anyone that has & does donate as we want this boy to have many more years.

King Louie, Lou, Lou Bear has been the outdoor area cat in a campground for as long as I've known him & longer past that. He lets passerby's pet him & sometimes even get some love & playfulness in there as well.

He unfortunately was accidentally hit by a golf cart, initially he ran off & hid, we eventually found him & have had him inside a bathroom for the time being. He definitely needs to be seen by a vet & fully evaluated, however, like most, vet fees are expensive & most aren't in a place to take on that financial hardship. He's a little fighter & he's a strong kitty that deserves the best & sadly I cannot take on the full financial weight of his vet bills alone.

The cost so far, for just an exam & xrays, at minimum have been quoted for about $550, this does not include if any other testing or anything else is needed, which is why the goal of this is a bit higher, this allows any extra testing or procedures done as well as any after care that may be needed (such as medications). We also understand not everyone wants to donate on GoFundMe, so we also have a Venmo that can be used if that is preferred, and all costs are going directly to Operation Help Lou Bear.
