Lotus is a 3 year old kitty from Ecorse Michigan that loves taking long naps in the sunshine with his siblings, trying new snacks, and being the center of attention.

This past Saturday (October 18th), Lotus was taken an hour away from home to the only emergency vet available. He was diagnosed with an obstructed bladder and they immediately got to work helping him. The obstruction had developed so rapidly that it was life threatening by the time he received his treatment. A few hours and a thousand dollars later, we were transferred to another emergency vet, an additional hour away from his home to continue his treatment. Lotus is currently still hospitalized and will need a PU (Perineal Urethrostomy) surgery before he can safely return home.

The cost for this surgery will be more than I can currently afford, especially after all of the payments made for his previous treatment between the two emergency vets he has had to visit. I am now asking for help to provide this little guy with the treatment he needs to get him back on his four-feet! We have a long and difficult road of recovery ahead of this, but with some help towards his surgery deposit we'll be able to get him back home where he belongs!
