Help Lotus feel better
Sweet Lotus was dumped at a campground in Southern Oregon nearly nine years ago. Lotus has always been a very healthy, loving, and playful kitty until we discovered he had contracted Bartonella. At the appointment, the vet found that he had poor teeth and a heart murmur. We treated him for Bartonella, and now six months later, he is due for his titer to determine if he has shed the bacteria. Sometimes with Bartonella, the symptoms can be cured, but over the last six months, it is apparent that he does not feel well, perhaps worse. We have been treating him for pain and giving him immune boosters while waiting for the recheck. We have an exam scheduled with a cardiologist to see about the murmur. All I want is for our Lotus to feel better. We spend all our extra time and money on rescues and caring for cats in our community. Any help with covering these expenses would be so appreciated
